How the sedan example adds up: ₹2,000 for the package, ₹150 for one extra hour, and ₹165 for 15 extra km (15 × ₹11). That’s ₹2,315 before any toll or parking. The Ertiga example is ₹3,000, plus two extra hours at ₹200 (₹400), plus 20 extra km at ₹13 (₹260).

Outstation trips are billed on a minimum of 300 km a day. These figures are simple multiplication of the published rates, so you can check them yourself.
Allowance is counted at ₹300 a day here. Toll, parking and permit charges are on top.
A practical example: Vadodara to Ahmedabad and back in a day is roughly 220 km on the road. Because the daily minimum is 300 km, a sedan is billed on 300 km, which is ₹3,300 plus allowance. Taxi fares go wrong in three places: the daily minimum, the driver allowance and the toll. Ask any operator how they handle those three before you confirm. We answer them before you book.

For a group of five or six, an Ertiga usually costs less per head than a sedan for four, and it has more room for bags.

A simple rule: one to three people with a bag each, take the sedan. A family of four to six with luggage, take the Ertiga or Carens. Per-km route fares follow the same rules as the main rate card: 300 km a day minimum, with driver allowance, toll, parking and state taxes charged on top unless the route page says otherwise.
Vadodara to Statue of Unity Taxi
The Statue of Unity at Ekta Nagar (Kevadia) is about 83 to 90 km from Vadodara by road, usually around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on where you start and how the traffic is. It’s the most popular day trip we’re asked about, and a private taxi suits it well: no changing at the station, no waiting for a bus, and you leave when your group is ready.
There are three ways to book it. A one-way drop if you’re staying on at Ekta Nagar or going elsewhere afterwards. A same-day return, where the car waits and brings you back to Vadodara in the evening. Or an overnight trip if you’d like to see the site without rushing. We can pick you up from your home, a hotel, Vadodara Airport or the railway station.
One thing worth knowing: the round trip is only about 170 to 180 km, but outstation trips are billed at a minimum of 300 km a day. So a same-day sedan trip works out to ₹3,300 plus allowance at the standard rate. Tell us your group size and date and we’ll quote the exact number.
How Far Is It? Distances from Vadodara to Saputara, Dwarka and More
Distance questions come up constantly, and different websites give different answers. Here is how we read them.
Vadodara to Saputara distance
By road, Saputara is roughly 285 to 310 km from Vadodara, and most map tools show about 287 km. A drive takes around 5 to 6 hours, longer in the monsoon when the hill stretch is slow. You may see 200 km quoted on some bus sites. That figure is the straight-line distance, not the road distance, and a car can’t fly over the Dang hills. The exact number depends on where in Vadodara you start and which part of Saputara you’re going to. Saputara is a popular family and weekend trip. Vadodara to Dwarka distance
Dwarka is about 500 to 520 km from Vadodara by road via Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Jamnagar. Allow 8 to 10 hours with breaks, and leave early, ideally before 6 am, if you want to reach before evening. Festival weeks, especially around Janmashtami, run slower. If you also plan to visit Somnath, that’s a different and longer trip, so tell us when you book. One-way fares for Dwarka are quoted per km: sedan ₹15, Ertiga ₹20, Innova ₹25 and Innova Crysta ₹30. Round-trip rates are lower per km, from ₹11 for a sedan.

Every distance and time on this page is an estimate. Traffic, weather, road work, the route your driver chooses and the exact pickup and drop points all change the number. We would rather give you a range and an honest buffer than a figure that looks exact.

Is toll included in the fare?
On most of our pages, no. Toll, parking and permit charges are paid on top of the fare. A few route pages say toll is included in the quoted fare, so confirm with us for your specific route before you travel.
What is the driver allowance and the night charge?
Driver allowance is charged per day in addition to the per-km fare. ₹300 The night charge is ₹200. Confirm whether per night or per trip.
Do you offer Vadodara car rental with a driver?
